Orange County Snake Removal

Your safety and satisfaction is our #1 goal!

Do you have a snake problem?

We can help. Snakes come in various shapes and sizes. They range from around 10cm to several meters in length. Their colors can range from vivid greens, reds or yellows to darker blacks or browns. Many snakes have distinct stripes or patterning. In California, there are many different species. People often encounter snakes because their property provides a good habitat. Like all animals, snakes seek out good places to hunt and hide. Sometimes this includes a person’s property, or even a house if there is access. Most snakes often choose flight before fight, but a startled or provoked snake will certainly defend itself. Though many people fear them, snakes are a very important part of our ecosystem.

For example, they help control pest populations. Many snakes found in the United States are nonvenomous and pose no risk to humans other than fright or a potential secondary infection in a bite. Despite this, many people have a deep-seated fear of snakes and don’t want any around their homes. If you have a snake in or around your home that could potentially cause a problem. Please give All City Animal Trapping a call. We have been servicing the Orange County area for many years.

I got sent to a construction site for AT&T in Sherman Oaks. They were working in a manhole and reported sightings of multiple snakes. This manhole was filled with water, and they were pumping it out. They were running tests to see if there were gases in this space and when they were working on that someone reported snakes – multiple. So, they explain the situation to me, hand me some big rain boots and a coat and I crawl in. They can’t confirm what species the snakes are and it’s kind of scary. It’s dark, I’m standing in a pretty large puddle of water with a flashlight and I’m nervously looking for multiple snakes. I found 2 baby rattlesnakes and that makes me more nervous because baby rattlesnakes can’t control their venom. They’re potentially more dangerous than an adult. Also, if there’s multiple babies around then an adult or 2 is definitely in the area. After combing through this murky water, I finally got a larger one. Not a full-grown adult but a decent sized rattlesnake, nonetheless. I had 3 snakes in my bucket at this point. I was making my way back to the opening and I saw another decent sized rattler. I put it in the bucket as well. I put the lid on the bucket and the workers up top pulled it up. I climbed out and was grateful that it went well. Rattlesnakes in the yard are one thing but 4 rattlesnakes in a small, dark space in a puddle is something entirely different. It was like a scene from Indiana Jones. Glad to make it out of there unscathed. You can’t really do snake trapping in standing water, but I was able to perform an on-the-spot snake removal.
